I am sorry to learn that we did not receive any of the large grants we applied for last school year. I think that it is time for us to seriously look at the "Thin Client" solution. I spoke with Carol Mayo several times this summer and learned that there are at least 3 other schools in the Diocese that are implementing this solution. I also learned that students can use their "thumb drives" with no problems.
Several of the schools are implementing with existing equipment for the "master" computers and just purchasing keyboards and monitors.
I really think we need to take a serious look at this solution.
